GARO's Washing Amine Integrated System (WAIS) revolutionizes flare gas recovery by integrating compression and H₂S scrubbing into a single, efficient process. This innovative approach eliminates the need for separate gas treating units, reducing complexity and operational costs.

How It Works

WAIS utilizes amine as the seal liquid in liquid ring compressors, allowing for simultaneous compression and scrubbing of flare gas. The system employs a patented three-phase separator that ensures 100% H₂S removal, delivering clean, ready-to-use gas without the need for additional treatment.

Key Benefits

  • Eliminates the need for separate sour water stripping (SWS) treatment.
  • No requirement for amine washing units.
  • Reduces or eliminates the need for cooling and process water.
  • Lowers operating costs and simplifies system design.
  • Offers a complete system warranty for peace of mind.

Applications

WAIS is ideal for facilities aiming to recover and repurpose flare gases, such as methane, LPGs, and sulfur dioxide, that would typically be flared. By integrating compression and scrubbing, WAIS enhances safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
